Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame Central Region Induction CeremonyKaleida’s Juanita Clayton among inducteesThe Central Region and the City of Portage la Prairie will host the second Regional Induction Ceremonies of theManitoba Sports Hall of Fame Museum,Ten individuals and two teams have been selected for induction by a committee of local expertise chaired by Ed Gilroy. Gilroy and his committee have done an outstanding job in choosing those to be honoured for their sporting achievements. Their contribution was critical to the continued success of the Rural Regional Induction Program Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame.Juanita Clayton who is already a member ofthe Manitoba Softball Hall of Fame is one of the inductees.On Saturday April 26th, the Central Regional Induction Dinner will be held in the Portage Curling Club and in the Canad Inns. Seating is limited to 600 for this facility so tickets are being sold on a first-come, first-serve basis and once they are gone, the event will be sold out.For further information or to order tickets to the banquet, contact Walter Mueller.
