The program is sponeored by Nacel, a non-profit organisation which has the official approval of the French government and is widely supported by French teachers in the United States and English teachers in France. NACEL is also a participant in the Presiden's International Youth Exchange Iniative.Participation in the program involves sharing a home with a French teenager from July 14-August 11,1609. The responsibility of host families is to warmly accept the French student as a member of the family and share everyday activities.
