By GLENN LOGANSOUTHWEST — Spring’s first heavy snowfall was a doozer and had the southwest suburbs tied up in knots last Wednesday and Thursday. Fortunately there were no fatalities or serious injuries.The predicted flurries start-ed falling in blizzardproportions about mid-day Wednesday. Snowflakesthat looked so large that one expected them to bouncetwice when they hit soon hadthe ground covered.
