Debbie Murphy Is Albia CandidateThe Spanish Club members de* cidcd to attend the state convention at Fairfield April 20.Debbie Murphy will be the candidate for an office. The person with the most votes becomes president, and the one receiving the second most votes becomes vice president. Connie Simpson was this year's vice president of the convention.Pam Portz is Debbie's campaign manager. She will head the committee that makes signs and posters for Debbie’s candidacy.The members chose Linda Kelley and Elizabeth Orelup as voting delegates from Albia. They will vote for the officers at the convention.The second-year Spanish students will produce a play called “In the Market for entertainment at the convention.
