Winslow Dispatch: Mrs. Emily Beach died Wednesday at her home in Augusta after a long illness. She was one of the best known women in Pike county, the widow of the late Charley Beach. She is a native of Lockhart township, a daughter of the late Temple Woolsey. She was 74 years old. She was a good woman, a life long member of the Methodist church. Four daughters, Mrs. Clara Pirkle, Mrs. Sherman Thomas, Mrs. W. S. Corn and Mrs. George A. Horst A large number of grandchildren and a host of admiring friends will miss her. The funeral ser- i vice will be conducted Friday at i the M. E. church in Augusta. The 1 remains will be laid to rest in the Odd Fellows* cemetery by the i side of her late husband.
