I live about three-quarters of a mile from school. We have eight more days of school. Our teacher’s name is Mr. O. J, Rhoads. He is a fine teacher. I a«n in the seventh grade. There are St scholars enrolled.Papa has 20 head of yearling calves. They are black Polled Angus breed. He has 7 head of horses, 5 milk cows and 17 head of hogs.We have about 200 clilckens. They are Rhode Island Reds. We like them very well. Papa built a barn last fall. It is 40x42 feet and will hold 30 tons of loose hay. We have had lots 6f snow this year, so it makes coasting good. We are going to ship two carloads of cattle in the spring.We have 12 milch cows and 14 head of horses. We usually raise between 6,000 and 7,000 bu corn, 3,500 bu of oats and some hay. We had 25 acres of flax last yqar. Our farm is well tiled. We have good gravel roads in this locality. We have a large barn, double corn crib, machine shed, hog house, cattle shed, hen house, auto shed and a 30-horse power auto.
