Elkton News.Mr. A. J. Johnson, of the firm of Lee brick Johnson, was in Baltimore last week purchasing their stock of spring goods. Mrs. Payne, their fashionable milliner, is expected to arrive today.J. T. Heard is having his storebuilding repainted inside and out,which adds very much to its appearance.Charles Gooden has three of the new dwelling houses about ready for the plasterers.Master Vinton Uolomy has been finite ill with the mumps.Dr. J. H. Wolfe, after a month’s sojourn at the hospital, is at home very much improved, but still right weak.Miss Anna and Buford Stevens, of .“Stanardsville, are visiting their sister, Mrs. A. S. Yancey.Miss Mamie Ruffner Is spending the week with relatives in Front Royal.Bev. Mr. Walton, of Iowa, son of Mr. Ed. Walton, of this place, has moved here on account of his health.
