The local case, however, failed to materialize and when brought into court the prosecution fell flat.James Bledsoe of Milan swore out a wui rant against J C Marquette of Coal Valley, charging him with kidnaping his son, Chester Bledsoe. Cheater has been working for John Grube, a South Moline farmer, for his board but recently changed his place of employment, when Mr Marquette offered him his board and clothing and $3 a monthadditionalThe father didn’t like this arrangement and he went to Marquette b place last Thursday to take his son home to Milan. Chester, however, refused to go with him and when Marquette up-51 held the son in his refusal, Bledsoe began to abuse him, until he wae ordered off the place Bledsoe got out the warrant in flock Island but when the above facta were elicited the case was dropped by Assistant State’s A*u torney 01 instead
