greaaive commonwealths.SEVADA PAPCH HILL PLANT.The pulp and paper plant to be erected near Floriston, west of Reno, will Boon be in process of construction. The water will be diverted from the river and carried in a pipe ten feet in diameter to the site of the mill. It will be located at a point where the river gives a splendid power, there being a fall of fifty feet in a distance of less than half a mile.The projectors of the scheme are interested in a pulp and paper plant in Oregon and thoroughly conversant with every phase of the business. The plant will be much larger than was first thought and will be constructed for the manufacture of all kinds of paper. The Truckee Republican has been informed that the entire plant will cost $250,000. When completed and in full operation it is expected that four hundred hands will be employed. Also that the demand for wood to be used in the manufacture of pulp will be 40,000 cords a year.
