Indian Devils.A tolegmm from Topeka, Kansas, dated tlio 8th Instant, tells the follow-Ing horrible story: “The Olioyonno chief, Stone Cnlf, came Into the Obey ennc Agency last Saturday week, with 1,600 of his warriors, und surrendered to tho United States forces at thnt point. Tho two onptivo Qonnan girls were brought along and given up to the authorities. The girls state thnt slnco their capture, In November last, they have bcou the mlsstrcSBCB of Stone Calf and Gray Beard, and tho eldest one Is cnoionle, and 1b half crazy with I grief and shatno. They wore both dressed In Indian costume, and toll tcrrlblo stories of tho privations and sufferings which they have endured. It will bo romambercd thnt nt tho time of their capture their parents, two brothers and a sister, wore massacred, and two other Bisters taken into captivity. The captured Bistors were re. covered by General Miles' troupe a couplo of months ago, and sent to their relations in Georgia. The two now at the agency arc aged, rcspco lively, seventeen and elovon years, and say they can Identify tho Indians who murdorod tho family. They are being tenderly cared for, but it Is feared the older one will loso her mind.” From newspaper reports of interviews with those two girls, wo learn that they gave their names us Catherine and Sophia German, and state that they left Morganton, Fannin county, in this State, five years ago. They give hor-riblo accounts of the massacre of the balan'co of their family, and of the brutal treatment to which they have been subjected for years. They have not yet been returned to Gcorgin.
