Bofu Evacuates Women,KOKUEA, Japan, Sept. 14 (CpKokura)—Women and children in Camp Bofu were moved to higher ground yesterday as Typhoon June bore down on the Southwest Command installation.Following an order by Col. K. D. Macomber, CampKokura commander, 20 women ' and 29 children were moved to Camp Crouch to , wait out the storm as a precautionary measure.Male military personnel stationed at Bofu remained in the area pending- further developments.Officials feared that Camp Bofu would be flooded by wat-! ers of the Inland Sea, as happened during the great typhoonChildren in Faceof 1934.♦
