MASONliterature, Hawthorne Society, American Studies Association.He has published many articles and has presented papers at meetings of many language associations.A member of Phi Beta Kappa, he has also held fellowships at Peabody and at UNC-CH.DAVISDr. Mol lie Camp Davis, chairwoman of the department of History, Queens College, Charlotte, will have a place in the evening session. Her topics of concern are social movements and reforms arisingfrom woman’s changing role in history and family and youth. Dr. Davis, a native of Newnan, Ua., received her A.B. in history and political science from Hollins College; her M.A.T., education and history at Emory University; her Ph.D. from the University of Georgia,She was an instructor at West Georgia College; an assistant professor at the same institution. Since 1972, she has been assistant professor at Queens College. In the Spring Semester, 1975, Dr. Davis was visiting assistant professor at Winthrop College.She has worked with the Atlanta Board of Education; been in retail merchandising; been a volunteer with the Democratic Party; worked with two United States representatives; and has studied international relations at New York University and the United Nations.In teaching, her interests lie in the 20th Century of the United States, women’s history, American Studies, popular culture.She has received fellowships, edited Southern Women Historians, Newsletter, worked with various special organizations as a resourceDR. DAVISindividual and consultant. She has been active in civic and community activity.She has had a number of articles published including mini-biographies for the Dictionary of North Carolina Biography. She holds memberships in professional, associations and has served as an officer in some, such as being president, after being secretary, for the Southern Regional Popular Culture Association.In addition, Dr. Davis has made a number of appearances
