HOUSTONWan sentenced to death for second laneFoi the second time, a jury has decided that a man convicted in the 1991 death of a 20-year-old newlywed should be sentenced to die.Jurors on Friday took four hours to render the same verdict that had been overturned because of race-based testimo- : ny later found to be illegal.Eugene Broxton, 48, was found guilty and sentenced to death for the first time in 1992 after he broke into a hotel room, tied up, pistol-whipped, robbed and shot Sheila Dockens and her husband. Sheila Dockens died and her husband survived.
