Philharmonicfields of mot§os o choral conductor andill twosoloist. A year ago he Chorus was invited towhen his Glenville Hightonal Conference in Indianapolis. In November,at the Music Educatorshe was awarded the first Kulos Foundation Fellowship in Choral Conducting enabling him to work with Robert Shaw and the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus.The Philharmonic Chorus was organised especially for this performance Appling. It consists of members from several choral groups including the Univer sity Circle Chorale, Notre Dome College, The Case Men's Glee Club and formermembers of the Glenville High School Chorus.Standing to the left of William Appling are William Adams, of Glenville High School; Mary Lou Houck, Nodre Dame College, Joanne Geisier, Western Reserve, Patricio Carter, Formerly of Glenville High School, and John Shields, Case Techmen's Glee Club.
