Trimpe of Havana*,111., It was announced today by It. N. Rond, president of the high school district, and Dr. W. Reuter,*1 head of the elementary board of1 education.Contracts, stipulating that eachboard pay part of the administrator's salary, were signed this morning.The high mtiwot district cover* the Bethalto, Cottage Hills, and Meadowbrook area, The grade schodl district Involves the Bethalto and Cottage Hills area.Replaces K. N, File, grade school ad ministrator for more than 30 years, will spend three days s week here until July 1, at which time he will move here and starta full work week.Supt. File resigned effective May j 30. Since the high school district is new, Trimpe will be Its first superintendent.The educator has been president of Havana schools for the past 18 years. Prior to that time, he was principal of Msnlto Grade School for three years, principal of Forest City Grade School for two years, and taught in rural schools of Mason County for three years. He is married and has one son, 19, afi sophomore in college.Harking an DoctorateTrimpe received his bachelor'sdegree Rom Western Illinois StateCollege, Macomb, in 1942, after attending Illinois State Normal University, Normal. He received a master's degree from the University of Illinois in 1945 and hascompleted three summers' work toward a doctor's degree In education at the University of Colorado.He is a past master of Manito l/idge, A. F, A. M. and past president of Ha\ana Rotary Club.
