U.Nathan Milstein, world celebrated violin virtuoso, will give a concert in Brewer Field House at the University of Missouri in Columbia on Monday night, March 31. His concert will be another in the current -University concert series.When he appears at Columbia, he will play the Stradivarius violin, Daucla,” a famous instrument made by Antonio Stradivari 'in Cremona in the year 1710, in what is known as the “golden period of the great violinmaker's life. This violin, though made over 200 years ago, is practically in the same physical condition as when it left the workroom of its maker.t Milstein says he does not consider himself to be a geniua, but only one who has acquired skill through long and hard practice. He said he was attracted to the violin while a small boy, and because of his interest in it and music, he spent hours of every day practicing.
