MEDALLIST RETIRES TORONTO (CP) - Cindy Shatto, gold medallist in the 1974 Commonwealth Games at Christchurch, has retired from competitive diving. Shatto, 21, who won the three-metre event at Christchurch, captured several Canadian championships and a fifth-place finish at the 1976 Montreal Olympics, said the nomadic life of a worldclass athelte contributed to her loss of interest in the sport.
