DcBlicux of Baton Rouge, Louis Lambert of Gonzales and Bryan Poston of Hor-nbeck.iColumbia arid Chatham will icelebrate the annual homecoming Sunday.A brief morning service and congregational singing will be held at 11:15 a.m., followed by dinner on the grounds.Homecoming officials said a singing program will be hold in the afternoon, lasting as long as participants wish to stay.Hickory Springs Church was established more than 100 years ago, but when many people moved out of the community, the present building, constructed in 1900, ceased to be used for regular services. Its only use now is for the annual homecomings.Homecoming Set By Area ChurchThe church is adjacent to Hickory Springs Cemetery, which dates back to 1841, and Iwhere people of many denomi-j nations are buried.
