Serpent On Piowl AgainPENINSULA, O., June (UD The Peninsula python” was on the prowl again today.The presence of the reptile in the vicinity of Peninsula first was discovered when huge snake tracks were discovered 'last night in C'as-siy bottoms neat- the Cuyahoga river.Today Mrs. Roy Vaughn telephoned Police Chief Arthur l-iueythat the snake had grabbed a full-grown chicken from her chicken yard east of Cassidy bottoms and tried to escape through a woven wire fence.-She added, however, that when the sualte couldn't get through the fence because of the lump the chicken made in its throat, he backed up and went over the top of a four-foot fence.”Assistant Police Chief Dale Hall measured ifrom the spot where Mrs. Vaughn said the snake's tail had been to the top of the fence and found that it would havo been lb feet long.
