PILOT TRAINING FACULTY ANNOUNCEDUniversity, Miss., June 13—(A*)—The ground school faculty forcivilian pilot training work at theUniversity of Mississippi was announced today by Dr. R. E. Eckles, local director.The school is to begin June 15 at Ole Miss., and is to provide training for a maximum quota of45 students. Requirements of 72 hours for ground school hours for flight training have been set.The faculty and subjects: Dr. James W. Silver, assistant professor of history, history of aviation; Coach Vernon (Catfish) Smith, instructor in physical education; civil air regulations; Dr. Mary Wilma Hodge, instructor in physics, navigation and meteorology; Dr. Alfred Hume, acting-chancellor and professor of mathematics, aircraft and theory of flight; Prof. A.
