Thorpe, of Winnipeg, will be awarded an honorary life membership Tuesday in the Canadian Tuberculosis and Respiratory Ois-ease Association.The presentation will lake place at the “association's ail-mini dinner in Ottawa as part of the throe-iiay 7'ltli annual meeting' of the group.Miss Thorpe was a founding member and national chairman of the nurses section of the association.She had been nursing consultant for four hospitals administered by the Manitoba Sanatorium Board and administrative assistant to the board.She was also the evamilive assistant in patient services for the board.
