WONDERFUL RECORDMiss Carol Jane Anger of Evanston, 111., who at one time spent a winter in Biloxi and attended Central school, has made such a wonderfulrecord that the Chicago Daily Tribune gives her quite a write tp. Miss Anger is a student iu Northwestern University and has made 37 A’s and one B in three and one half years of college work.From her grammar school grades up Miss Anger has made wonderful records. She fcraduat ft froja E\anston High School witji highest honors, winning a scholarship at Northwestern and h^s won prizes and scholarships every year since; including English prizes, book prizes, a travel prize, the 1926 cup for the best woman rifle shot in the University. Miss An-j | ger was elected to Phi Beta Kappa honorary sorority last fall and has just recently been elected, to a fellowship in astronomy, which she expects to use next year in obtaining her Masters degree. In addition to her class work, Miss Anger has taught math, six hours a week this past year; this with scholarships and tutoring and little help from her grand father has paid her way through college. With all this the Tribune reporter characterizes her ns a normal girl, not the walking encyclopedia type at all. Modest and unassuming, the unaffected way in which sue garners her laurels makes her lovable to her friends and the adored member of her family.
