CHEROKEE WANTS TOBE ON HIGHWAY 73Cherokee, la. — (Special) —The highway committee cf the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce voted, at a meeting Friday morning, to co-operate with ether cities Jn re-curing an extension of federal highway No. 73.At present the road extends from the Gulf or Mexico to Nebraska City, Neb., being divided into 73 east and 73 west at one point, joining at the north Kansas line. The cities along the desired route want it extended from Nebraska City, across the river to Sidney and north to the Lake of the Woods on the Canadian border.
