Look for a likely makeover of thestores after the 2005 holidayshopping season as Macy’s brings in the more elegant touch and a finer lineup of clothing.Central New York has Kaufmann’s stores in malls including The Pyramid Co.’s Carousel Center in Syracuse, Macerich’s ShoppingTown and Great Northern malls in Onondaga County, and at Pyramid’s Sangertown Square Mall in New Hartford.There is one Lord Taylor, at Carousel Center.in its announcement Wednesday, Federated executives said the company will keep the Lord Taylor name, along with May’s famed Marshall Field's.All other May chains, including Filene’s, will get the Macy’s nameplate.| Terry J.
