lenius Hub.Irene Mott Bose, her husband, anti twenty-months-old son, Christopher, her sister, anti her husband’s sister, drove in a five-passenger Ford from India to Albania this spring. There was little room for extra clothes as they carried beds, bedding, a week’s food supply in case of emergency, and six gallons of drinking water for desert stretches. In spite of precautions they were once reduced to Persian bread and apricots for three days. In Persia they almost froze, and all had to buy big yellow sheepskin coats. Mu tty found Albania “magnificent.” She planned to continue to England, leave Christopher with his grandmother, then come to America.
