Kotelnicki newWarhawk 06 coachGazette staffWHITEWATERAndy Kotelnicki has joined the UW-Whitewater football coaching staff as the team’s quarterback coach.Kotelnicki is coming from the University of Mary (N.D.), where he served as the Marauders’ offensive coordinator for 2011 and 2012. In 2011 the UM offense produced the combi nation of a 1,000 yard rusher, the sixth in school history; the Division II scoring leader among receivers, and the number four ranked offense in passing efficiency in D2.“We’re really excited that we could attract someone with his abilities,” UW-W head coach lance Leipold said. “Hehas a great knowledge of our league, he brings experience as a Division II coordinator, and his philosophy is a good fit for our program.”Prior to joining the University of Mary staff in January 2011, Kotelnicki worked at UW-River Falls.kotelnicki joins a UW-W program that has produced seven Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships in the last eight years, four NCAA Division III championships in that span and three of the last four years.Kotelnicki will also be an instructor in UW-Whitewater’s Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Coaching Department.
