Wal-Mart is exploring Supcrcemer options for the county, while building groceries into its store near Auburn,Wegmans and PC are experienced competitors against Tops. Wegmans goes at Tops tooth and nail in Wegmans’home market, Rochester. And Wegmans squares off against Tops in Tops’ hometown market, the Buffalo area, where PennTraffic operates Quality Markets supermarkets.So we shall see what goes here, so it now seems.Stores overboard. Theweight of the expansion of Old Navy in the Onondaga Countymarket is hitting.Check out the wake this Gap division is making as it builds stores in the Great Northern and ShoppingTown malls.The disbursement is the more stunning at Great Northern, in the Scan wing where the giant Old Navy store will make waves, scattering are GNC CVS, Hammett's Learning World, Lachtem,Foot Locker, the University sport Shop and Piano and Organ Center.
