Ex-leader gives LCCC $50,000By ANDE YAKSTISTelegraph staff writerGODFREY — A former president of Lewis and Clark Community College has given a $50,000 to the college for ascholarship fund.“The college was a big part of my life, and so my wife and I wanted to give something in return to the college,” said former LCCC President Wilbur R.L. Trimpe, who now lives inMorrison.The 88-year-old Trimpe helped start the community college and was its second president from 1973 to 1983.The $50,000 gift will establish the Wanita E. and Wilbur R.L.
