I llFCO ^ OlltllsDescribe BigMvsterv BirPOINT PIEASANT • It maynot have been the monster that has been seen by several tn Mason Countv in recent weeks, butit was a mighty big bird according to three Point Pleasant High School students who reportedthat they saw this “thing” Monday night as they were driving on Staff house Hoad near Route62 at 9 15 p m The boys, Steve Clark, Brerry Casto and Bill Mowers, said Uflew along with their car and they saw its wings which had a five foot span.They said that it looked brownwith white spots under its wings.They didn't see a head or feet, but estimated that it might have been nearly four or four and one-half feet tallThe boys said it did not look like a man, but more like a bird, although like nothing they had : seen before It came at them!suddenly, and went out of sight 4quickly, too.
