They may be2III~ amended or made plainer from time to time, but at no time will a change be made which will work SinU a hardship on any one.Sinn The recipients of the Commercial Tribune’s generous offer are to be selected by ballot.SSnn Any lady over 17 years of age is eligible. Before being voted for each lady must have aSinn nomination coupon sent in for her. The nomination coupon can be sent in by any friend who desires to nominate a lady, provided it is indorsed by three responsible citizens of the county in whichshe lives. The indorsers must be merchants, professional men or officials—who can be easily reached or found. She must reside in one of the prescribed localities. A blank nomination coupon is printed, in each issue of the paper. Use it to send in the name of the lady you wish to represent your locality.A ballot will be printed in each issue of the Commercial Tribune, commencing Sunday, January 10. Each ballot must be cast within seven days of the day it was printed, and will be counted as one vote for the lady named on it, provided the name of the lady appears in the list of those nominated. If she has not already been nominated send a nomination coupon with the ballot.Special ballots will be provided, which will carry with them a large number of votes for prepaid subscriptions.Three judges agreeable to the candidates will be selected in each locality to officially announce the winner. One girl will be chosen from each county, except as otherwise provided.As in other elections, each locality will vote separately. The vote in one can not affect the others. Matters properly concerning the tour will be settled by the wishes of the majority. The time of leaving will be the last of June or first of July. The winner shall have the right to name a proxy if unable to attend herself.Voting will commence with the issue of Sunday, January 10, 1904, and close with the issue of June 14, 1904, and until 6p.m. June 15, 1904, allowed for all the votes to be deposited.Commercial Tribune World's Fair Tour.One of these Coupons must be received for each candidate before she can be voted for.
