TWO SEER REFLECTION, 2 NEW CANDIDATESA. S. JOHNSTON FILESA Sidney Johnston, principal of Elkmont high school, this week announced that he is a candidate for superintendent of education of Limestone county, subject to the May 4th primary.Mr. Johnston said that he is familiar with the county school work, having devoted 24 years of his life to the teaching profession, and is making the race on his record, feeling that his years of experience well qualify lam or the position he seeks.He is a native of Limestone county, finishing school here at the old District Agricultural school, and then receiving his B. S. at Alabama.His teaching experience includes four years in Montgomery county school, 7 in Cullman county and 13 years as principal in this county.He is at present vice-commander of the American Legion. He is also a member of the First Christian church and the Lions Club.
