She was notified of having successfully passed the examination on January 29.A native of Jaanerette, La., Mr*. Rutherford earned her B. S. degree Summa Cum Laude at Howard University, and a Master of Science degree at Columbia University.She began her colJogc teaching at West Virginia Slate College in 1925 as an instructor in business administration and remained in that post until 1933.She returned to the faculty in 1957. She is the widow of the late Charles R. Rutherford, former business manager at West Virginia State College, and the mother of Rosalie R.
