Dinner Will Honor Professor StewartTeachers College Professor Emeritus of Nursing Education Isabel Maitland Stewart will be honored at a dinner this afternoon at 5:30 at the Men’s Faculty Club.The dinner will commemorate Professor Stewart’s 84th birthday and her 35 years of service to nursing and education.The collection of $104,000 in gifts to sponsor the Isabel Maitland Stewart Research Profes-sorship of Nursing at Teachers College will be announced. The funds were solicited during the past year in recognition of Professor Stewart’s service to Teachers College.Among the speakers will be Dean of Teachers College John H. Fischer.
