During World War II she remained in Japan as an interned alien, but after the war ended she again took up her teaching work there.I£r1\ceIhdcWord of her death was re- qceived here in a letter from her niece. Helen Virginia Barns, also a missionary-teacher in Ja-j pan. Funeral services were held in Chigasaki on Jan. 27, and interment of Miss Hodges's ashes in a Tokyo cemetery will take place later this month.hCQaLfi.%
