McDonald, the alienist, testified before Justice Mills in the Supreme Court at White Plains this afternoon that Edward Kturgcs Hosmer, former New York lawyer, clubman, and society man, now an inmate of Bloomingdale Asylum, was a paranoiac, and that it would be unsafe for him to be at large.Hosmer leaned back in his chair and laughed heartily at this testimony. Heis seeking his release from the asylum { on the ground that he was kidnapped when taken to the institution and that lie is sane.While Henry It.
