Program From New York Is To Be Dedicated to NewIMembers of Blue NetworkKVSO to Carry Salute ta Radio Listeners Of Southern Oklahoma and Wednesday, New Years Day, Regular Network StartsNational Broadcasting Company will salute KVSO Sunday, the Ardmore station which, along with other members of the Oklahoma Network, will become a part of the vast NBC Blue network on Jan. 1.The program, especially arranged for the occasion and dedicated entirely to its new members by NBC, will be presented from 1:30 until 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. KVSO will carry the complete salute program which will originate in New York and will be brought to Ardmore over NBC wires. A brief history of Ardmore has been sent to NBC for use on the programStations in addition to KVSO which will be saluted as new members of the NBC Blue hookup will be KADA,I Ada; KBIX, Muskogee; KGFP, Shaw-; nee, and KCRC, Enid. KOME, Tulsa, and KTOK, Oklahoma City, are already members.Pending receipt from the NBC program director of the NBC program schedule for next Wednesday, changes in local programs that will become necessary after KVSO joins NBC cannot be announced. It is expected that several studio programs of KVSO will have to be switched to other times to avoid conflicts with NBO programs.
