HOLIDAY COOKIES is thename of a wee book which was sent to us by a Fairfield friend and fan of County Fair. The little book is compiled by Edna Beilenson, drawn by Vee Guthrie, and published by Peter Pauper Press . . . just in case any of you would like to add this gav litt’e gem to your cook book collection.The cover and the pages are so very pretty, the illustrations so cute and so comical; our copy will be one of the gifts to grace our Christmas tree.“Cookies to nibble, cookies to send: one batch for me, one for my friend,” is one of the rhymes which adds spice to the numerous quick and clever recipes. There are rolling pin cookies, drop cookies, mold cookies, bars and squares, and soecial eift cookies. We’ll list av 'N*rfew of the recioes for you to try.
