He la past president of the WestMonroe Klwanls Club, pastEresident of the Mor.roe-West fonroe Advertising Club, past president of the Ouachita Bass Club, and has served as director of the Tenth DistrictAdvertising Federation.Morgan Is the chairman of the Monroe Democratic Executive Committee, president of the Bass Research Foundation of Northeast Louisiana, adirector of the Better BusinessBureau and a member of the Greater Monroe Optimist Club, Advertising Club, Home Builders Association, Highland Park Country Club and the National Association of Broadcasters.In 1961 Morgan won the IxMiislana Jaycees State Spoke Award, He was named Monroe’s Outstanding Young Man in 1969, and was awarded the Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal Award In 1971He is married to the former Kay Ethridge of Monroe, Louisiana and they* have two children, Chuck, Jr. 16, and Carolynn 13 They reside at Mil Duval Drive In Monroe and attend the Covenant Presbyterian Church In Monroe.In making the announcement Morgan said, KUZN and KYEA have been a part of my life since they were founded by Mr. Griffith It is with deep appreciation to the many friends in this area that have helped us over the past 20 years to make both stations a real part of this community.I look forward to continuingthe same fine serv ice that bothKUZN and KYEA have provided this area.
