Sportscaster leaving CKNDCKND sportscaster Gene Principe is leaving to take a job with CanWest Global's Ontario affiliate.Principe, who joined CKND’s sports department three years ago, has co-anchored the nightly Sport-sline program, reported on sports for CKND News and acted as host of the station's Winnipeg Jets hockey telecasts.CKND news director Heather Suttie said Principe’s exact departure date has yet to be determined. She said the station hopes to have a replacement named soon.
