Typhoon Hits OkinawaG usts;Deaths ReportediFT. BUCKNER, Okinawa, Aug. 15 (SS)—Thefull fury of Typhoon Grace struck here shortly before noon today with gusts up to 124 miles an hour pounding the island.As of noon no major damage had been reported.There were no reports of any deaths or injury.The eye” of Grace approached to within 23 miles of Kadena Air Base and was traveling northwesterly at five miles an hour.
