She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Bethany Sunday School Class of tiie church.Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. J. Howard Welch and Mrs. N. Morris, bolli of Florence, Mrs. R. A. Kirvetl of Pamplico, and Mrs. Edward Mernone of Washington, D. C.; two sons, Curlis L. Powell Sr. and Aurice L. Powell, both of Florence; two brothers, Josh E. Langston and Wallace Langston, bolh o f Tim-monsville; two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Jeffords of Florence and Mrs. H. W.
