KIVA-TV SoldA quintet of Houston bonkers, brokers and businessmen hove signed an agreement to purchase KIVA-TV, subject to Federal Communications Commission approval, which normally takes from 4-6 months.The papers were only signed Wednesday, according to Chuck Ballard, station monoger, and application for change of ownership has not yet been filed with the FCC.Ballard says the new group plans to bring in its own station manager,Jerry Proctor, president of the firm, has sold his house here and plans to move to Houston, where he is involved in installation of a cable system. Proctor was out of town Friday and not available for comment.Chico says that only 20 minutes after the deal had been signed with the Houston five, Farmington's Ron Dubis and Ed Massey showed up as finders for another group with an offer, but if was too iate.
