He came to Canada in 1913.attention to it, hat it submerged immediately, disappearing: from sight. Boyce watched intently for several minutes, but lie saw no further sign of it.The Oogle Boogie was last sighted some 12 years ago by G. “Slim” Udal, now skipper of “The Eileen,’’ while on a scheduled run up Waterton Lake. Mr. Udal’s description of the lake serpent is the same as that given by air. Boyce,At the time Udal sighted the “monster” it was » similar distance from his boat. He turned to draw the attention of passengers to the strange sight. When he looked around U had disappeared. XJdal watched formore than a mile, but the serpent-like creature did not show up again, discrediting the suggestion that the object could have been some animal like a bear or deer swimming the lake.About that time the “monster was also reported seen by A- G, Baalim of Lethbridge. Mr. Baalim claimed to have seen the serpent-like body undulating near the surface of the water; he reckoned the serpent to be some 30 to 40 feet long. The head appeared to have two hams ■with knobs on the end.Waterton Lakes have direct access to the ocean via the Saskatchewan Elver system. It is considered quite possible that an eel or some other serpent may ha-ee travelled up river to Waterton Lakes living in the murky depths to grow to enormous size.
