Atherton, one of Kentucky’sfamous distillers and president of the r National Protective Association in which Mr. Atherton is represented as saying in the course of his remarks, endorsing E*W. Herman’s card advising the liquor men to vote for Helm as a candidate^or the constitutional convention because Col. Bennett H. Young, the opposing candidate, had voted the Prohibition ticket. Prohibition has been voted on in twelve states and defeated in ten of them. If it had succeeded it would have driveu every liquor man out of business, no matter whether he made or sold wine, whisky or beer.I submit to a thinking public the testimony of John M. Atherton as an expert in regard to the effectiveness of prohibition as a measure for destroying the liquor traffic. J.A Safe Investment.v
