CHARITABLE WOMEN.They Will Give an Entertainment lor the Diflpeniary.An effort Is being made by some Influential and philanthropic citizens, and by a number of doctors who have daily opportunity to observe the need* of the poor, to establish a dispensary for women and children in the southeastern part of the city. The dispensary is to be unique in respect to its management, as it will be connected with the Woman’s Medical College and wig be under the control of women physipians.It is desirable to raise a permanent fund, the interest of which will support the dispensary without fear of ^ebt* , Jw«nty-ftve thousand dollar* are needed. The physicians who. are most conspicuous in this effort to establish the dispensary are: Dr. AmyS. Barton, Dr. C. Newlin Pierce, Dr. Hannah T. CroasdaJe, Dr. Anna C. Broomall, Dr. Ada Howard-Audenrled, Dr. Gertrude A. Walker. Dr. Mary E. Alien, Dr. Eleanor C. Jones, to any of whom contributions large or small may be sent, at the Woman’s Medicfcl College of Pennsylvania, North College avenue.The Berlitz School of Languages will give an entertainment next Saturday evening, Ur aid of the dispensary fund. A German and a French play will be presented, and Giere will be music by Miss Nichols, tne Misses Lynch, Mrs. William Ellis Scull and Miss Margaret A. Nevins.
