This paper has made arrangements to be represented by eleven student delegates from Hamilton County and the across-the-river cities. It will take th^ delegates in a Pullman Palace Car at its own ex-' pense and furnish the hotel accommodations. The trip wi 11 be made leaving Cincinnati on June 20, and returning reach here the day after adjournment of the convention. A special representative of The Commercial Tribune will accompany the partv.* The students will have official badges, stamped “COMMERCIAL TRIBUNE DELEGATE.” These badges will assure thenV many courtesies and much distinction. Already some nominations of delegates to represent the various schools designated hiwl The trip is one of which any young man may be proud. The conditions under which the delegates are to go arebeen made.stated below.CONDITIONSUnder Which Commercial Tribune Delegates Will Be Selected.It is fully expected by The Commercial Tribune that where there Is such a pleasing proposition as this there will naturally arisfca friendly contest to determine who the delegates shall be. It is tn§ intent of the paper to send the most popular eleven students, and it is left to the students of the various schools, their friends/-and the public generally to declare who these eleven young men are. It is necessary to prescribe some conditions to govern the candidates, who wish to be delegates, and their friends, and the following simple rules will prevail:The selections are to be by public vote of ballots cut from this paper, and special coupon-votes furnished by this office.Any male student of any of the schools mentioned is eligible as a delegate. There are no age limits.A candidate must be, at the time he is nominated, a student at one of the schools. It is necessary that the principal of the school which he attends must certify to this efTect.There is no limit to the number of students who may enter from each school. •A ballot will be printed on page 2 in each issue of The Commercial Tribune, and will be count^rd as one vote for the name of the student appearing thereon, provided he has been nominated properly and the ballot reaches this office before it becomes^void.Paid-in-advance subscriptions, monthly or longer, must be SENT DIRECT, by mail or through the agent, TO THIS OFFICE, and on receipt of remittance coupons will be issued which entitle the subscriber to special votes as set out elsewhere in this advertisement. The paper will be delivered through the mail, by carrier or agent, as requested by the subscriber.No employee, or member of employee’s family, of The Commercial Tribune can participate.The time of leaving on the trip will be June 20, and the return the day after adjournment of the convention.The delegate, if unable to attend, shall have the right to name an alternate, subject to our approval.Voting will close with the ballots in the issue of June 14, 1904, and until 6 p.m., June 15, 1904, allowed for all coupons and ballots to be deposited.To secure special coupons all moneys must reach this office.
