MethvenWilliam Methven. 77, of New Stanton RD1. died Monday. Sept. 21. 1992 at his residence.He was bom Nov. 10. 1914. in Herminie, to Colin and Mary (Harley) Methven.Mr. Methven was employed as a real estate representative for West Penn Power in Greensburg prior to his retirement. He was a member of Madison Hilltop United Methodist Church, Applewold Volunteer Fire Department and Madison Golden Agers. He was a member and past president of Armstrong County Firemen's Association.Survivors include his wife. Ruth (Chellman) Methven; two sons, Richard Methven of Belle Vernon and Thomas Methven of New Stanton RD1; a daughter. Mrs. John (Hilda) McConvtlle of New Stanton RD1; 10 grandchil dren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother. Robert C. Methven of Kittanning; and a sister. Mrs.George (Anna) Lynch of Manor,Pa.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Alan Methven. in 1959; a brother. Stephen Methven: and a sister, May Lash.METHVEN — Friends of William Methven, 77. of New Stanton RD1. who died Monday. Sept., 21, 1992, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. in Madison. Visitation will also be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Madison Hilltop United Methodist Church, until services begin there at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Edward Jenkinsofficiating. Burial will follow in Madison Union Cemetery. Arrangements by Beatty-Rich.
