OBITUARY 1iMrs. Idael MakeeverMrs. Idael Makeever, beloved by hundreds of readers throughout the west for her inspirational poetry, followed the theme, Sunday, of one of her best-liked poems, entitled “I Shall Go Seaward Singing,” and slipped peacefully into eternity.Mrs- Makeever had made her home in Loveland a number of years, following the death of her husband, Milton A. Makeever, and was. beloved, by a wide,- circle .of friends and admirers- * .. .% ♦Mrs. Makeever was unusually talented, ‘ not only as a poet,, but ♦ * as an entertainer with the-.Chautauqua -in earlier, days. During World War II, she wished to aid the war•effort and worked in a government plant in Utah. She was a member of the Presbyterian church in Boulder.Funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m*, Wednesday at the Kib-bey Funeral Home, with interment in Loveland burial park.
