ObituaryJAMES MAYHEWPassed away on August 10th, 1964, James Mayhew, age 99 years of Bow View Nursing Home.Bom at Renfrew, Ontario, he came to Wawanesa, Manitoba in 1695 where he took a homestead. He later moved to Foxwarren, Manitoba in 1921. Mr. Mayhew had resided in Calgary since 1960 and resided with his son Arthur until a year ago. He was a Charter and Life Member of the Foxwarren Masonic Lodge No. 192. A F A M.Mr. Mayhew was predeceased by hii wife Susan on December 19th, 1962 in Calgary. He is survived byfour sons, Cecil and Arthur of Calgary; Lyman and Charles of Detroit. Michigan; four daughters, Mrs. G. E. (Lillian) McCredie, Calgary; Mrs. *1. (Verna) Cuthbertson, Mrs. Olive Laycup and Mrs. J. (Ethel) Laycock, all of Winnipeg. Thirteen grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lulu Swinerton of Vancouver.Funeral services were held atFoster’s Garden Chapel, 540-16th Avenue (NW) on Thursday, August13th at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. HerbertReid officiated. Interment was inMountain View Memorial Gardens.
