Elaine Konecnedies at 38Doris Klaine Konecne, 38, was found dead Sunday morning in the kitchen of her apartment at the Ken Lee apartments on north Cherrystreet. Dr. John Hoyt, Unioncounty medical examiner, said she had apparently died of suffocation about 11 p.m. Saturday.Miss Konecne apparently had dozed off and was awakened. She apparently fell after she arose in such a portion that her breathing was shut off.Miss Konecne was secretary to Union county attorney Robert Rolfe.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian church here. Rev. Lester Pearson, the pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Her body is at the Keating-McKasson funeral home.Her family said a memorial fund is being established forthe First Christian church Contributions may be left atthe funeral home.Doris Klaine Konecne was born in Creston, Nov. 18, 1934. She was the daughter of Fred E. and Mae I^eonard Konecne. She grew up in Creston but moved to Des Moines in 1953 and to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1954 She returned to Creston in April, 1972.She had been employed for several years prior to her return to Creston as a legal secretary for a Salt Lake City law firm. She was a charter member and had been vice president of the Salt Lake City Legal Secretaries Association. While in Salt Lake City she also was active in the Heart Association and United Fund campaigns and in the Democratic party organization. While working in Salt Lake City she was elected legal secretary of the year by the Salt Lake City Legal Secretaries Association.She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Konecne, 410 north Elm street, and a brother, Carroll Konecne of Creston
